Don’t Be Fooled By ‘Imposter’ Kitchens

Ordering food from your favorite restaurant? Don’t be fooled by an imposter.
‘Imposters’ are restaurants that trick online customers by using a similar name to a popular local spot – often one that doesn’t offer delivery itself.
Customers will think they’re getting their favorite dish, only to get low-quality knockoffs instead.
Some scammers don’t even bother to deliver the food – they’ll just take the orders and credit card payments, leaving customers to think they’ve been ripped off by the real deal.
Have you ever accidentally ordered from an ‘imposter restaurant’? How often do you order delivery?
