Eclipse Sends ‘Black Hole Sun’ To The Top Of The Charts

Last week’s solar eclipse sent Soundgarden back to the top of the charts.

The band’s 1994 classic “Black Hole Sun” topped Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, thanks to people spinning it during the eclipse.

It’s not the only classic song to get a chart bump during the eclipse – other older songs that charted this week include Pink Floyd’s “Eclipse”, CCR’s “Bad Moon Rising”, and Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart”.
